Baker Tilly in the British Virgin Islands has strengthened its corporate restructuring and insolvency team following the recent appointment of Laurent Keeble-Buckle from the UK. Laurent is a chartered accountant and has worked in the restructuring and insolvency field for the past 13 years having spent 11 of those at a big 4 practice and moving to a smaller, more specialised firm prior to joining Baker Tilly. Laurent’s experience spans all forms of insolvency proceedings, both local and international, along with Proceeds of Crime work, multi-jurisdictional litigation and asset tracing. In addition, Laurent was involved at a very early stage with the Lehman Brothers insolvency in London where he spent 7 months on the Administration.

Laurent’s management experience in some of the major recent global financial services cases, as well as his having worked on assignments involving Russia, Dubai, African nations and other Caribbean jurisdictions will be valuable to stakeholders and well-received by our clients. ”
